TOR proteins belong to the family of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and are targets of the antiproliferative drug rapamycin. AtTOR binds the yeast FKBP12 protein in the presence of Rapamycin, is involved in embryogenesis and is expressed in embryos, endosperm and meristems.
